Dog-sitting and Norway's Constitution Day Parade in Ballard
Last Sunday, we stopped by the parade in Ballard celebrating Norway's Constitution Day. I was bummed because we arrived too late and missed seeing our young friends on their unicycles, which their dad caught on video here.
We're dog-sitting a friend's dog, Holly. Holly and Mocha are usually good friends. Icy13 took a photo of them sharing Holly's bed, or actually, Mocha is taking over Holly's bed...
Even Yoda6 is enjoying the dog bed for a Sunday afternoon nap (as he's holding a pencil sharpener)...

Afterwards, we picked up the kids and went To The Streets, the church's monthly homeless ministry. It seems like when the weather is sunny and clear like today, there were fewer people out on the streets. Ben/Dad wanted to find waterproof bicycling pants and gear for his commute so we went to the thrift store and Stupid Prices, which is a liquidator that sells discontinued things from stores like Costco. I think Hotdog9 likes that store just to be able to constantly repeat the name of that store, since he's usually not allowed to use that word, esp when referring to an annoying sibling
